  Web Design Reflection I already knew how to make websites because when I was younger my grandmother made me create her website. However, I learned much more from this assignment now that I'm in college as well as adapting to the new updates and technology. I've developed new skills in layout organization, color theory and so much more. I used the contrast principle by using a dark background with lighter-colored text to make it easier to read. Additionally, I applied alignment by making sure that all of the text and images were properly structured in the middle. I enjoyed the creative freedom I'm designing my website however I found the fact that I wasn't able to place certain icons exactly where I wanted it a little annoying. In the future, I can use these website design skills to create professional portfolios, educational blogs, or even business websites.
